Black and Racism: The Two Go Hand and Hand

"You could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down."

— Former Education Secretary and Drug Czar William Bennett

Seeing all of the racism that Black people have endured you would believe that society’s statistics of who is the richest and poorest would be polar opposites correct? Black people would come out fighting trying to achieve the greatest success they can, going to school, building family bonding, creating strong alliances with their people, and inspiring their people to never give in to the suppression. BUT THEY DO NOT! Majority of the Black race is not going to college let alone high school, single mothers are growing rapidly, strife is omnipresent through gangs, and the people in the hood are telling the youth not to go to school. THE RACISM WORKED! White people were so racist that they DISENCOURAGED the Blacks to succeed! Black people are not reading about their true history and are not staying current on politics or social matters; majority of them believe only White people are suppose to do these things. And that is when White people say THANK YOU; thank you for not caring so we can now LEGALLY be racist towards you in our laws. And now you have a barrage of angry Black people saying the world is racist when everyday they have a chance to enroll into college and receive a degree to begin a crusade to make a change. But I guess the “White Only” signs of the 50’s and 60’s, the number of innocent Black people in prison, the lack of subsidies in the Black community, the ineffable amount of rape to innocent Black women, and slavery altogether does no matter to the Black community; and judging by their grotesque statistics, IT NEVER WILL.

"Since apartheid’s inception in 1948, a number of organizations in the U.S. had been supporting the liberation movements in South Africa, headed primarily by the African National Congress, but most U.S. administrations continued to support the apartheid regime."
