Oblivious To Influence

Black people have been influencing the world since the dawn of the time, dating back all the way to the Ancient Kmetians (Egyptians). Their reign heightened during the New Kingdom, when Thutmose III (one of the greatest rulers of all time), Amenhotep III (one of the richest PEOPLE of all time), Hatshepsut (the first documented female sovereign in history), Ramesses II (who we all know as Ramesses the Great), and many more that no one has ever taught you about in World History invented many of the archetypal practices that the Greeks pilfered or enhanced (but in the Greek annals they created it). Alexander the Great fell in love with the Blacks of Kemet. Cleopatra made the Land of the Blacks her home. Alchemy, mathematics, glass, empiricism, the scientific method, the decimal system, and the first alphabet were invented in the Land of the Blacks. The Rosetta Stone was founded in Kemet. Some of the first documented sport of rowing is by Pharaoh Amenhotep II. The 42 Prinicples of Ma’at were the governing laws of the land until the spread of Christianity; and then came the Ten Commandments in neighboring Sinai putatively. Kemet was the land of erudition; everyone journeyed into the Land of the Blacks to acquire their knowledge. Kemet, other than the Canaan, is the most conquered land in history because solely of its knowledge held by the indigenous Black people. It is funny how many people believe the “Egyptians” were not Black, but just Egyptian (I did not know nationality was an ethnicity), and that the pyramids were undeniably built by aliens (but no one is disputing the Greeks’s or Romans’s structures). Also if we look at history, the Early Dynastic, First, Middle, and New Kingdoms of the Kmetian empire were in the years 3100 B.C. – 1069 B.C. until they were conquered by the Libu, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Muslims, then Christians (yes). Greeks did not even have order in their home until circa 800 B.C. Alexander spread the Hellenic influence from 334 B.C. – 330 B.C., until he was killed by his own people. So this shows us that Black people were establishing the principles of life CENTURIES before a white race even knew the meaning of their own existence.
The human race began in Africa, who they have come to deem Mother Eden. Fast forward to the SCRAMBLE OF AFRICA where the Europeans billowed in and DEMARCATED Africa with their flags, thus stealing the land from the indigenous people (and we all know who they are). This is when Africa was stolen of its purity and marred with strife. Fast forward to now, where Black people have become the definition of cool. When someone says “you are acting White,” they mean you are ennui, because everything that Black people do is vibrant and extraordinary. Look at the colors of the African tribes during their rituals. Beautiful colors filled with elaborate designs. Their dances; unreal and fluid. People are drawn to this; they want to imitate this; and many, knowing that their culture does not possess the elements, despise this. Look at how fashion has changed. First there was FUBU, Coogi, Karl Kani, and Enyce with their spectacular designs and standout appeal. Years later, EVISU, Red Monkey, ED HARDY, and every other fashion house that has turned their lines into streaks of colors and caricatures on the backs of shirts. Yet in the fashion world this is deemed urban if a Black person has anything to do with it; no one is calling Christian Audiger urban and Ed Hardy is completely FUBU on ecstasy.
Music has been the greatest influence in history by Blacks. In every country there are Hip Hop artists (and they are not Black). One influence has been the House Music genre. Now many Black people do not listen to this type of music, but if they knew the history of it, it started with the 70’s funk era. The first actual house songs were considered Rick James, Michael Jackson, and other artists who had fast beats. The songs were mixed after one another to create fluid feel of interminable music. Then the genre transitioned into soulful voices over unworldly yet funky beats. If you listen to house music today, who are majority of the singers on the songs? Black people. Black vocals over house beats. Many people do not know this because the audience of this music is predominantly White.
But what has hurt the Black community the most is the lack of education. EVISU, Red Monkey, Ed Hardy, and all other non-Black owned fashion brands dominate the market over the Black fashion houses, and Black people made a great contribution to this. Jay-Z loved EVISUS. Lil Wayne and Pharrell completely endorsed Bathing Apes. But never do these rappers rap about their own Black people’s brand of clothing. And even worse, Black people spend their last dime on designers who want nothing to do with the Black community. Christian Audiger, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Tommy Hilfiger are just three who would rather not have the business of Blacks; yet Black people buy their garments up and do not think twice. It is funny how many people in the Black community rather by Gucci than receive a college education and create their own fashion company or invest into a Black person who is trying to venture into fashion. This is what the Black community needs to be looking at; opportunity, not Louie and Gucci. Louie Vutton and Gucci are already established and will make it without your business, now it is time that you establish yourself. These designers have been able to steal the essence of the Black culture because Black people did not want to go out and receive the education to start their own businesses and represent themselves, so someone else said if you will not show them these designs, I will. And it has not worked out in the Black community’s favor because the amount of Black fashion houses are not even mentionable compared to the White owned fashion houses WORLDWIDE. There is a dearth of Black models in the industry. White owned fashion companies are only hiring their people to represent THEIR clothing. That sends a blatant message that if you want to see your people in the print ads and on the runway, create your own fashion company. But without any idea of how to run a business majority of the Black community cannot do that. The Black community must know their history; where they have come from and where they are going. The early Blacks cherished knowledge and died for what they believed in. Today Black people are not even putting up a fight to show that they care.
